ASCE Orange County Branch and ASCE Orange County Younger Member Forum (YMF) is hosting ASCE Orange County's 2023 History & Heritage/Student Scholarship Night!
The History & Heritage/Student Scholarship Night is an annual event for the local civil engineering community that brings together college students, early career professionals, and accomplished industry professionals from universities, private firms, and public agencies across Orange County. History & Heritage/Student Scholarship Night will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa in Costa Mesa, CA. The Career Fair/Networking event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The dinner program will take place form 6:30 to 9:00 pm, which will include the distribution of awards and scholarships and student chapter presentations.

Join us for part 4 of University Outreach's new speaker series where students will get the opportunity to "meet" the mentors. The various panels will allow students to ask this year's mentors questions per discipline. Next up is WATER + ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING!
The discipline specific panels will give students who participated in the mentorship program a chance to broaden their perspective with additional mentors and allow students that did not get a chance to participate in this year's program the opportunity to learn from our awesome mentors as well! Recipients will be announced at the ASCE Orange County Branch History & Heritage/ Student Scholarship Night on November 18th, 2021 (See flyer BELOW OR ABOVE WHEREVER YOU PUT IT) Link to Scholarships: http://www.asceoc.org/scholarships ASCE Orange County Sustainability Committee Fall Bike Ride: Sat, November 20, 2021 - 8:00:0010/27/2021 We will leave the Barnes & Noble parking lot at 8:30am, bike across the parking lot, and ride southeast along the San Diego Creek Trail, cross Creek Rd, cross over to the south side of the trail using Jeffrey Rd, and cross back to the north side of the trail using Alton Pkwy. We will take a break at Los Olivos Community Center and head back toward starting point.
After the ride, we will gather at the Woodbridge Village Center plaza area with a lake view for refreshments. This will be an out and back ride, round trip roughly 10 miles, mostly flat. This will be a slow-paced ride suitable for all abilities; nobody will be left behind! Project Partners, in cooperation with ASCE LA Section, has launched a civil engineering internship job board to provide a centralized site for your students to access opportunities & start their careers. Our job board site contains numerous local civil engineering internships listings from public & private agencies in the area.
